Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Jemptymethod/Archive001! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Ryan 09:38, July 31, 2005 (UTC).

[edit]

I understand you want visitors to your blog but only relevant links can be included in the external links list. Your blog is not relevant, but the blog post about Ajax without javascript is somewhat relevant. The link should be to the specific blog post which is relevant to the article - not the blog.

I think this issue is quite clear. Have a look at the guidelines.

"Harrassment"!

[edit]

You spelled "harassment" wrong! I think you are a sockpuppet! There's absolute proof that you are a sock puppet. You spelled "harassment" wrong! - 05:43, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

Dropping it

[edit]

I had made attempts to drop this before you slandered my name, but you persisted by using my name and attributing it to impropper behavior. At this point, I'm willing to drop it as well as long as you undo the damage you've caused. I'm not trying to be a jerk about this, but there really was no attack from me. Despite my attempts to tell you it was Catmistake, you persisted with this rediculous conspiracy theory. Like I said, I'm willing to drop it if you wipe the false claims on the RfC, clear my name of your accusations, and agree to work together in the future intead of against each other. Fair enough? - Sleepnomore 15:45, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

  • If you delete your sections on the RfC page, I'll delete mine there as well. No need to archive them since the page itself will be archived as well as the history once it ends. We can archive our talk pages, shake hands, and move on to productive edits. (If you need help archiving, le tme know). That would be perfectly fine with me. I do have to contact the Atlanta PD and Greenville County PD because I did contact them . (I haven't heard back from my message at Atlanta yet, but I imagine I will on Monday if I don't call back). I do appologize for stooping so low on my last few edits -- such as adding a baby bottle next to your RfC reply. As it became clear I wasn't going to convince you I wasn't who you thought I was, I stooped fairly low. Lets get this done and move on. - Sleepnomore 16:16, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

Archiving

[edit]

Archiving is fairly simple. Simply Click the "Move" tab at the top of the page, and you'll see a field with the value "User talk:Jemptymethod" in it. Change it to something like "User talk:Jemptymethod/Archive001", type in a 'reason' if you want one and click submit. Once the page is moved, it will automatically create a redirect from the main talk page to the archive. To remove the redirect from the main talk page, click on your talk page, then at the top of the page you'll see a link that says "redirected from User talk:Jemptymethod". Click that link and edit that page to remove the redirect. - Sleepnomore 16:48, August 21, 2005 (UTC)
