Welcome!

Hello, Linear~enwiki, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Also, I wanted to tell you that I have removed the portion about FOX airing The Practice. Your local FOX station may air reruns, but ABC has held the series for its entire original run. Also, FOX does not have exclusive syndication rights; for example, NBC and UPN air it in my area. Visit my talk page if you have any comments about this. ral315 18:39, August 29, 2005 (UTC)

It's entirely possible that FOX was originally pitched the series; David E. Kelley has done numerous shows with FOX. And their sister network FX airs reruns here. But I'm positive that FOX itself has never aired it. In any event, I hope to see you improving pages here for a long time to come. ral315 20:10, August 29, 2005 (UTC)
Also, may I suggest that the part you wrote about Season 4 be condensed a lot? It's not really necessary to have such a large portion on just the 4th season. I would be willing to do this, if you'd rather, but my suggestion is to condense season summaries to one or two paragraphs. Again, feel free to discuss this on my talk page. ral315 20:10, August 29, 2005 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Practice Cast.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Practice Cast.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eachwiped (talk) 10:57, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wildcats Charest.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 07:05, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:NewMan4.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:NewMan4.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:16, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
