[edit] Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you recently removed content from Anioma people without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Arjayay (talk) 14:02, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Anioma people, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:02, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Oshimili North, you may be blocked from editing. - Arjayay (talk) 14:03, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Horn of Africa (defined as including Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and adjoining areas if involved in related disputes). Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Request reason:
Dear Admin,</nowiki>
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to respectfully request the reinstatement of my account, Obifcb1, which was recently blocked.
I understand and respect the importance of upholding community guidelines. However, I believe my recent contributions may have been misunderstood. My intention was to share historically grounded facts concerning the Anioma people and their integral identity as part of the larger Igbo ethnicity—an assertion that is supported by extensive anthropological and archaeological documentation.
Additionally, it's worth noting that there is currently a growing, publicly supported movement among the Anioma people to reunite with their Igbo kin across the Niger River. This initiative has gained momentum and has reportedly received backing from regional legislators, with the goal of establishing a balanced sixth Igbo state in Nigeria. I shared this in good faith to enrich the historical and cultural context of the article and foster meaningful knowledge exchange.
I truly value the collaborative ethos of this platform and seek to contribute responsibly and respectfully. If possible, I would appreciate any clarification regarding the block and any guidance to ensure alignment with content policies moving forward.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I respectfully ask for a second chance to contribute constructively.
Warm regards, Obifcb1 ~~~~}}

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. - Hello Obifcb1. Please note that Wikipedia is a collaborative environment, and as such communication is required. Editors are expected to make a good faith effort to respond and address concerns as they arise, which is not happening here. There is also an underlying concern that you are operating multiple accounts or coordinating off-wiki to do so. At minimum it appears that this account, along with a handful are others, are gaming the autoconfirmed status to edit certain semi-protected articles, often leveraging an LLM while doing so. As of now, you are currently blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks due to continued disruption. Use this time to become well familiar with our Wikipedia:No original research policy, as your account will be blocked for an indefinite time period should this pattern of disruption continue. Please wholly address the concerns posted thus far on your talk page, and disclose any other accounts that you have registered or have worked with prior to the resumption of modifying any Wikipedia articles. Thank you. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 15:33, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
