Template:Single chart/testcases
[edit]Your edit of 14:35, 28 April 2025 of Template:Single chart/testcases results in fostered content lint errors as error messages of the form "INVALID AUSTRALIAN CHART ENTERED" jump out of the table. We have nearly eradicated Fostered Content from English Wikipedia. Is it necessary to generate these error messages in this way? —Anomalocaris (talk) 06:13, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- To be honest, it seems to me that this should be fixed in the template, rather than cleaned up from sandbox. Now you can see how scattered the error output is, and similar messages appear inside the table and replace the text, then inside the table and supplement the text, then in the notes, then in front of the table. I will discuss changes to bring the message to the same format, and then the error should probably stop appearing. Solidest (talk) 13:35, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- I've prepared a sandbox change that will probably be applied around the weekend, and for now I've removed the lines from the live version of the template that cause these errors. Solidest (talk) 17:18, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
