Ddcc (talk · contribs) I've been editing Wikipedia since the 9th of March. Having stumbled upon this page a while ago, I've decided to have my peers review me so that I can be a better Wikipedian. Ddcc 23:14, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Reviews
- I’ve never done a user review before, but here goes nothing. Firstly, you are great at working within groups; you are very friendly and level-headed when communicating with other users, both in user_talk, edit summaries, and wikiprojects. In fact, you spend just as much time talking with other users as you do editing articles. I would actually recommend that you spend a bit more time in the mainspace. Communication is great and necessary in Wikipedia, but you’re a good editor and are knowledgeable in your field, so try to be bold now and then and make changes that you know must be made. My second suggestion is to write more prose edits. You’re doing a great job at stuff like link-fixing, but many Dragonlance articles have stubby sections that could use entire extra paragraphs. This leads into my third point: build up Dragonlance articles to be featured. With all those articles you’ve been working on, I expect that some of them are nearing completion. Go finish them up and nominate them. Seeing your articles gain status gives a nice sense of accomplishment. Hope that helps. --Arctic Gnome 09:54, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- I originally joined Wikipedia to help improve the Dragonlance articles, having been a fan of them and noticing that some of Wikipedia's articles were sorely lacking. Thus, I'm feeling pleased about the Dragonlance articles.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I've gotten a bit worked up at times over an argument over adding an 's' to the end of the word 'sun', specifically Speaker of the Sun when another editor from a 'mainstream' Dragonlance site came over and told us our article was wrong. In addition, I've also gotten worked up at times over Wikipedia politics over a fair use amendment over at Wikipedia:Fair_use/Amendment/Fair_use_images_in_portals.
