- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
I am a huge fan of the entire WikiMedia project, and think Wikipedia serve as a positive example to mankind. After years of use, I think the least I can do to return Wikipedia's favour is to help maintain the great pages that they actively create. Even if I am not given Administratorship, I will continue to help their noble cause.
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What admin work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I would really like to help new Wikipedia members get their work recognised, as a lot of new members sometimes get ignored. I would like to help get rid of vandalism on wikipedia, as I believe it is an increasing problem, unfortunately.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I have not made many contributions, as I have joined within the past 6 months, but I hope to make many in the future if I am allowed to become an administrator.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A:I have had people deleting my work as soon as I put it online, which caused me some hassle, but I reviewed my work reasonably and overviewed my processes to how I applied the knowledge that I had. I found the easiest way to avoid becoming angry at critics is to be a critic of yourself, making sure that you make your own decisions in the right way, and that you review how you can stop yourself getting it wrong again in the future, or how the new angle can advance your ideas.

- Oppose. I'm sorry, but you have very little experience to show you wouldn't abuse the tools. Despite your good intentions, I cannot trust you with adminship. I suggest you withdraw this nomination and get in about 6 months of editing before requesting adminship again. Sorry. Malinaccier (talk) 23:05, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- No, I think not. The fact that you are suggesting you should be an admin after so little work and association suggests a great lack of knowledge of our project. Please copnsider withdrawing and coming back in six months or so. - JodyB talk 23:09, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. The candidate currently has little experience. I have nothing against him but adminship requires a reasonable level of experience as a user so that people can have reasonable assurances that you will be able to make sensible judgements.
