Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. It is recommended that you answer these optional questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Mainly deleting sites which have been marked for consideration for speedy deletion, especially abusive ones about people's colleagues. However, I would try my hardest to be fair, and support keeping any page which -even if I know not about the topic myself- may be of interest to other users.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I am a fan of British Theatre, especially Fringe, and also the Disney theme parks, so most of my contibutions to date have been on those topics. I don't believe I have a "best" contribution, but I do always cite my sources, adapt pages that seem to not have a npov (esp those which appear to be advertising the product) and I also contribute to talk pages, with suggestions for improving pages or topics I think may be of interest.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: No.

Oppose
[edit]- Oppose - not enough experience to show understanding of general policy, or understanding of the admin area--CSD--you wish to work in. Enthusiasm is good, please gain more experience and try again in a few months. // roux 16:37, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per your reply to Q1, considering that your edit history shows no user talk edits except on your own talk page. We cannot tell whether you have a solid grasp of the speedy deletion criteria. -- Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 16:43, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - Trust me when I say that I hate opposing candidates, but it seems to me that you'll need some more experience before being trusted with the tools. Your recent edits are great, though, so keep up the good work and reapply in a few months. --Dylan620 Contribs Sign! 17:18, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. Edit count usually isn't an issue, but you have less than 500 edits, and I'm afraid you lack experience. DiverseMentality 17:41, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per lack of experience. Sorry, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 17:43, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
