Switch to using VE?

Should we change this tutorial to use VE instead? I think for students it may be more friendly. Thoughts? Mvolz (talk) 15:38, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Are we encouraging students to edit this page???

I think a more appropriate place for students to try editing is the sandbox (which is actually the place where people are supposed to try editing). Taking students to the sandbox also teaches them that the sandbox is the place to try things, not just any page in the website. User670839245 (talk) 15:03, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes we are, its specifically for students who are going through the tutorial to try editing a page as part of the tutorial. We don't want them to have to leave the tutorial to do that, because once people leave a tutorial generally they don't come back.
