Yanybayevo (Russian: Яныбаево; Bashkir: Яңыбай, Yañıbay) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative centre of Yanybayevsky Selsoviet, Belokataysky District, Bashkortostan, Russia. The population was 844 as of 2010. There are 13 streets.

Geography

Yanybayevo is located 19 km northwest of Novobelokatay (the district's administrative centre) by road. Medyatovo is the nearest rural locality. Yanybayevo is a rural locality (selo) and the administrative centre of Yanybayevsky Selsoviet in the Zianchurinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. The village is situated approximately 96 kilometers southeast of Isyangulovo, the administrative centre of the district, accessible by road. The surrounding region is characterized by gently rolling plains typical of the southern Ural foothills, supporting a mix of agricultural activities and natural vegetation. The area experiences a continental climate, with cold winters and warm summers, conducive to various forms of agriculture. The Sakmara River, a significant tributary of the Ural River, flows through the broader region, contributing to the area's agricultural viability and providing a natural resource for local communities. The river originates in the Uraltau range of the southern Ural Mountains and traverses through Bashkortostan and Orenburg Oblast before joining the Ural River in Orenburg. The Sakmara River is approximately 798 kilometers long and has a drainage basin of 30,200 square kilometers.
