  • Comment: Please note that notability of an individual for an article on Wikipedia requires that there's "significant", "independent", coverage in "reliable sources." For this purpose, lists, interviews (with limited exceptions), event listings, album links etc do not count. There are only two or so sources (Ref 14, Ref 2) in the current article that say something significant about Krish Baha and why he's relevant. I suggest finding similar and more sources and removing references that are not necessary. I believe notability is close but not quite there yet. WeWake (talk) 21:18, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Biography

[edit]

Baha is of Armenian & Italian decent and was born in Melbourne, Australia.[2][3] Baha began his involvement in the Melbourne underground music scene in the late 2000s, organizing club nights and performing as a DJ. Between 2014 and 2016, he co-founded a weekly event called "Power Station" alongside his brother Daniel Bahoudian and collaborator Michael Delany. The event's name was later adopted for his record label.[1]

After relocating to Berlin in 2015, Baha continued his music production and live performances.[4] In 2017, he released the Autora EP on Cocktail D'Amore. In 2018, Baha released the Can't Keep The Fact EP on Pinkman Records. Baha also released the In Your Arms EP on She Lost Kontrol.[5] In 2018 Baha also collaborated with Blind Delon, I Hate Models & Lapse of Reason on "Rule III" as lead vocalist.[6]

In 2019, Baha released the My Master EP on Pinkman Records.[7] His debut LP, Palais, was released on Cocktail D'Amore in 2019, reflecting his transition from Australia to Germany and was noted by Resident Advisor & Pop Matters as helping revive the EBM genre in dance music.[4][5][8] Baha also performed live on Boiler Room in Lisbon.[9]

In 2020 during the pandemic Baha performed on United We Stream which was broadcasted on Arte Concert.[10]

Baha has produced remixes for various artists, including Boys Noize, Boy Harsher and Hercules & Love Affair.[11][12] He later toured with Boy Harsher in 2022.[13]

In 2023, Baha introduced the project Ghosts In The Machine, inspired by themes of artificial intelligence and cyberpunk aesthetics.[14]

In 2024, Baha's remix for Nixer "People Feel" was played on BBC Radio 6 Music.[15] Baha was also featured in the documentary Electronic Body Movie, focusing on EBM music.[16]

Artistry

[edit]

Baha's music has been cited to blend elements from the 1980s and 1990s with modern electronic genres, including EBM, minimal wave, dark wave, post-punk, IDM, and industrial dance music.  He has cited influences in his early life such as Rammstein, Throbbing Gristle, and Nine Inch Nails aswell as trance and techno from the 90s.[1]

Baha utilizes both analog and digital hardware in his productions and live performances as cited on XLR8R 'Studio Essentials'.[17]
