Renata Jones is a Brazilian film director, screenwriter, and producer, born in Rio de Janeiro. From an early age, she showed a passion for cinema, which led her to develop a career marked by influences from German Expressionism and filmmakers such as Fritz Lang and F.W. Murnau. She's a member of Academia Brasileira de Cinema.

Carreer

Renata Jones began her career in cinema with works that reflect her admiration for striking visual styles and intense narratives. Among her films are We, Brothers, with a film noir aesthetic, and The Outsider. In 2025, We, Brothers is scheduled to premiere in Rio de Janeiro on June 30, and in Los Angeles later in the year. Jones is currently involved in the pre-production of two new film projects: Harriet, a psychological horror, and Memórias, a drama.
