SOMOS Group is a set of independent companies that operate in the Spanish language Audiovisual Entertainment industry in all its areas (production,[1] distribution, and marketing) across different territories. The Group is led by Luis Villanueva, a television executive.

- Pay television, serving Cable television in the United States, Satellite television, and Telecommunications companies through SOMOSTV (production and distribution of the Pay TV television channels ViendoMovies and Semillitas).
- Linear television channels and On demand television supported by advertising, with Somos FAST.[2]
- Global distribution of audiovisual content in all genres with SOMOS Distribution.
- New distribution platforms: Subscription video on-demand (SVOD) applications and online content with Somos Next.[3]
- Production of television programs in all genres with SOMOS Productions.
- Film production with SOMOS Films.[4]
- Music production and distribution with Somos Music.
History
[edit]SOMOS Group was founded in June, 2017,[5][6][7][8][9] as the diversification of the SOMOS brand in different areas of the entertainment industry in Spanish called for an entity that could integrate business operations and optimize resources.[10] At that time the different entities had common points of contact, relationships and services that facilitated collaboration and efficiencies among companies[11][12][11]. SOMOS Group integrates different areas, including business development, the legal department, finance, and marketing support, among others.
At the start of the year 2024 SOMOS Fast (dedicated to the distribution of add supported content) was launched, adding a new business to the group.[13]
