Mangang (Meitei: ꯃꯉꯥꯡ) is one of the seven main clans (Yek Salai) of the Meitei people in Manipur, a state in northeast India.[1][2] The Mangang group includes many family names (Yumnaks) that come from the old kingdom of Kangleipak (now called Manipur).[3][4]
In the traditional flag of Kangleipak, the red color represents the Mangang clan.
