This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Splash Splash Love (Korean Drama), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://koreandramadl.blogspot.com/2015/12/splash-splash-love-k-drama-episode-01.html.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Baekhyun (singer), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://mysunshinesoo.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_38.html.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Baekhyun (singer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://mysunshinesoo.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_38.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wgolf (talk) 20:46, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your interest in improving this page...lists are tedious to keep up and maintain. However, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking on repeat linking: "Generally, a link should appear only once in an article." Although WP states "Duplicate linking in lists is permissible if it significantly aids the reader," I think these lists are short enough that the reader can glance above to see the first link. All links are provided once on each chart, for groups that have multiple chartings.

In addition, the page has already over 200,000 bytes, which is putting it in the cumbersome category, which may require some work in the near future. Although I originally did what you did, with the links every time, I deleted them as the page started to grow, to help keep the size managable.

For convenience sake, I will revert your edits to return the chart you edited to match the others on the page, per my discussion with you. Thanks!--Bonnielou2013 (talk) 00:49, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Pure love movie.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Pure love movie.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Replaceable fair use File:Kim Bum in Mrs Cop 2.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Kim Bum in Mrs Cop 2.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nick—Contact/Contribs 04:24, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Control copyright icon Hello CJojoC, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to My Little Baby has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Random86 (talk) 05:20, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

K-drama infoboxes

I reverted some of your additions to the Monster (2016 TV series) infobox because they go against the template documentation. According to Template:Infobox television, countries and languages should not be linked, and preceded_by (and followed_by) should not be used to indicate what show replaced another in a specific time slot. Also, the day of the week and time of broadcast does not belong in the infobox. I know most K-drama articles on Wikipedia violate these guidelines, but I have been slowly going through them and bringing them in line. Random86 (talk) 00:41, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Entertainer (2016 TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted.

Please take this opportunity to be sure you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 03:36, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You are also blocked for refusing to communicate with other editors. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. In order to continue editing, you must show us that you understand the copyright policy and that you'll be responsive to other editors' concerns. MER-C 03:36, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have read the copyright policy, and I understand them now. I will no longer copyright from other wiki drama websites. CJojoC (talk) 19:54, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I understand that I shouldn't copyright work from other Wikipedia websites. I can include a review of tv series, or a movie and link the original website to the page, but I can't directly copy the whole text, it would be illegal, instead write it in my own words. If there's a website that I suspect is copyrighting work, I should not link it to a page on Wikipedia. I hope that I cleared what I understood from the copyright policy. CJojoC (talk) 08:26, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

There was significant attempts to communication with you about copyright prior to the block. Communication is crucial in a collaborative environment. Why did you not respond before and what has changed since then? HighInBC 15:25, 18 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I honestly didn't know that I should respond to the messages. I only read them. And yes, I acknowledge and admit that I didn't take it seriously back then. But now, after reading and understanding the copyright policy, and with your explanation I know that I should communicate with the ones that message me, and warn me about doing something wrong/not acceptable in here. I hope that I gave a good response to you. Thank You. CJojoC (talk) 11:53, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

Accept reason:

On the basis that you have indicated that you are now aware of the copyright issue, and that you will communicate with other editors in future, I am willing to give you another chance, and the blocking administrator has agreed to that. K-drama infoboxes, again

Why are you ignoring my previous message? Refusing to communicate with other editors is one reason why you were blocked before. I told you why your additions/changes to the infobox were not acceptable, but you keep making the same edits. In addition to what I already mentioned, the image caption should not be in italics, and headings should be in sentence case ("Main cast", not "Main Cast"). Also, the "website_title" parameter does not need to say "Official website" because that should be obvious. Random86 (talk) 21:57, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I didn't read the message! there was no notification. I understand now.

If you understand, why are still adding inappropriate infomation to infooxes? Random86 (talk) 16:27, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay I get it know. I thought you only were talking about the name of the show/headings/image caption & The Run Time in Infobox.

Hello. I was wondering what has happened to Hwang Chiyeul's name. He was originally listed as doing part 6 or 7 of the OST. As of last week he was still listed on the page but he is no longer there and different singers are listed. Is he no longer releasing a sing for the OST? Can you shed any light please?

Hello! I appreciate your enthusiasm for Korean entertainment but please do notice that Wikipedia is not a fan site but an encyclopedia. The articles here are not for reporting on every singlle event in detail that happens in a celebrity's life. Ji Soo's details of operation, down to even the degree of his fever is unnecessary and unencyclopedic, given that the section on his career, which is why he has an article in the first place, is 1 sentence long. We are not a Kpop magazine, nor a fan page or a fan forum. Rporting on his illness is pretty much enough in 1-2 short sentences. This is not what we have articles on people for. He is in Wikipedia becaue he is an actor, not because he was hospitalised. (Millions get hospitalised every day) Please try to keep a balance in reporting and focus on careers rather than personal life details. Thank you in advance. Hanja

If you are unsure of the hanja for a particular Korean television show, leave the "hanja" parameter blank in {{ko-hhrm}}. Please don't fill in the hanja parameter by copying from Chinese Wikipedia, as the Chinese translation of the show's name generally does not correspond to the hanja of the Korean name. See Sino-Korean vocabulary and Korean mixed script for further information. Regards, 58.176.246.42 (talk) 03:33, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:ChenBaekXi.png

Thanks for uploading File:ChenBaekXi.png.

Thank you. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 20:47, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced biographical details

Please do not add unsourced biographical details, as you did in this edit. You must cite your sources, especially when you edit a biography of a living person. You should also probably take a look at our guideline on reliable sources, as there are many websites that purport to give biographical information on celebrities. Few of them are reliable. This includes the IMDb, which is user-generated content, and thus not usable on Wikipedia. If you have questions about reliable sources, you can ask them at the reliable sources noticeboard and get community input. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:26, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
