Data verification
Hi again. I am not sure why some other user did this last night. I do not know how the NCDC did their updates in the early days of the pandemic. Is that change supported by a reliable source? LSGH (talk) (contributions) 01:10, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- LSGH, Yes, they're probably right, the data was incorrect. See my edits on that day here and here. Also see the situation report from the NCDC official website on that day. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 02:29, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
- How about this? I can say that those are not the numbers that were shown when I updated the chart. The user has been actively involved in this topic area for almost one month already. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 10:41, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- LSGH, Surprisingly, they're right again. See this reliable source and this one. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 10:51, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- Did they publish their numbers more than once on those days? This was superseded by this, but this superseded a previous update that I could not find. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 01:10, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- LSGH, This is the first update from 16 February 2021 you couldn't find. So, from what I could see from my investigation, the NCDC updated twice on those days, adding numbers of Lagos State they couldn't add or missed in their initial report, so all good here. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 07:05, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks. Before this, I had not been aware of such instances of late reporting. I usually look at the source just once a day, and I had assumed that there was no change from the previous day's data. LSGH (talk) (contributions) 00:59, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Drafts
An addendum to this would be, technically there’s an option to “accept” but if you attempt to “accept” it, it doesn’t work and a notice of “admin protected” pops up. Celestina007 (talk) 22:46, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, it's not really about the interface allowing you to accept the draft of a title protected from creation, it's to first show your readiness to accept the draft and a willing administrator will remove the page's protection, thus allowing you to move it to the article space. That should be standard practice. —Nnadigoodluck███ 23:06, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- I appreciate your input, but like I stated you simply cannot accept the article even if you attempted to, a notice is auto generated mandating that the article name be first unprotected, at least as far as accepting drafts at AFC that’s the standard practice. Oh? I get your POV now, you think it should be the individual attempting to accept the draft that the onus depends on? if that was your POV then it’s a matter of choice, you may or may not assume that responsibility as afc reviewers aren’t mandated to, infact it is behoove of the article creator to do so anyway, like I earlier stated your input is very much appreciated.Celestina007 (talk) 23:22, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
Am sorry about that

What else do you think I can do Jasper0816 (talk) 17:37, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- Jasper0816 You mean the link to your personal website which is a blog and unreliable? Please, Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 17:41, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

WikiCup 2021 May newsletter
The second round of the 2021 WikiCup has now finished; it was a high-scoring round and contestants needed 61 points to advance to Round 3. There were some impressive efforts in the round, with the top eight contestants all scoring more than 400 points. A large number of the points came from the 12 featured articles and the 110 good articles achieved in total by contestants, as well as the 216 good article reviews they performed; the GAN backlog drive and the stay-at-home imperative during the COVID-19 pandemic may have been partially responsible for these impressive figures.
Our top scorers in Round 2 were:
The Rambling Man, with 2963 points from three featured articles, 20 featured article reviews, 37 good articles, 73 good article reviews, as well as 22 DYKs.
Epicgenius, with 1718 points from one featured article, 29 good articles, 16 DYKs and plenty of bonus points.
Bloom6132, with 990 points from 13 DYKs and 64 "In the news" items, mostly recent deaths.
Hog Farm, with 834 points from two featured articles, five good articles, 14 featured article reviews and 15 good article reviews.
Gog the Mild, with 524 points from two featured articles and four featured article reviews.
Lee Vilenski, with 501 points from one featured article, three good articles, six featured article reviews and 25 good article reviews.
Sammi Brie, with 485 points from four good articles, eight good article reviews and 27 DYKs, on US radio and television stations.
Ktin, with 436 points from four good articles, seven DYKs and 11 "In the news" items.
Please remember that DYKs cannot be claimed until they have appeared on the main page. As we enter the third round, any content promoted after the end of Round 2 but before the start of Round 3 can be claimed now, and anything you forgot to claim in Round 2 cannot! Remember too, that you must claim your points within 14 days of "earning" them (except for at the end of each round, when you must claim them before the cut-off date/time). When doing GARs, please make sure that you check that all the GA criteria are fully met.
If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article nominations, a featured process, or anything else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed (remember to remove your listing when no longer required). Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Wikipedia:Gubernatorial Elections in Nigeria Contest/All Articles
Greetings, Sir. I was just thinking if Bendel State and Gongola State could be added to the list in the Wikipedia:Gubernatorial Elections in Nigeria Contest/All Articles contest. Being that they were once old states like the other 17 states. Just wondering. Kind regards. Kambai Akau (talk) 13:48, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- Kambai Akau, I'll add them now, I forgot about it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. —Nnadigoodluck███ 13:51, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

How do you go about this?
Hello there, I’ve got two hypothetical questions, first is, if I moved a page from A-B due to COMMONNAME and whatnot then later discover there’s a even a better Common name, do I unilaterally still go ahead to move it to the title C and leave a redirect behind? Secondly when moving an article from Sandbox directly to mainspace, should a redirect be suppressed? since it’s from Sandbox? I’m too mentally drained right now to check up policy. Celestina007 (talk) 19:17, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Celestina007, Thank you for stopping by. It's always a good practice to create redirects of alternative names that points to the most particular article title. So, there's no need suppressing the redirect when moving to the better COMMONNAME, even when you previously moved it to another. For your second question, you can either move a sandbox without leaving a redirect or you could leave a redirect, it's not against policy. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 20:00, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, I was too unwell yesterday(my life long ailment and all) to begin to scroll and read up policy. On a lighter note, E be like say you get degree for page moving and it’s intricacies. Celestina007 (talk) 21:39, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi - one for you to move out of mainspace when there’s an existing draft if you’d be so kind. Many thanks Mccapra (talk) 18:07, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
… and another one for your kind attention, thanks. Mccapra (talk) 06:54, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

style
When writing articles about people who are not in the popular entertainment industry, please remember to refer. to them either by their last name (a few times in the article or when needed for clarity) , or "he/she/they" (most of the time) not the first name. Using the name repeatedly in the article makes the article sound promotional , and usingthe first name, makes it sound very promotional indeed--and for a professional academic and administrator such as Tessy Okoli it's usually considered quite impolite. DGG ( talk ) 19:34, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello DGG, I didn't know this before, thanks for letting me know. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 19:56, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
June 2021

Hello Nnadigoodluck. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Alex Nwankwo, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Nnadigoodluck. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nnadigoodluck|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Template:Z159 Celestina007 (talk) 19:37, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Celestina007, I have never been compensated for any edits I make on Wikipedia and will never engage in Undisclosed Paid Editing. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 19:58, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Good, so you wouldn’t mind having to explain to WP:AN/I(when it invariably gets there) how you got the images on the articles of the non notable businessmen you created as your “own work” which couldn't be found anywhere on the Internet now would you? Furthermore I am concerned that you lack the competency to hold Autopatrol, it’s either WP:CIR related or you are engaging in covert UPE. Look it’s either you stop now or you are looking to be blocked which can happen faster than you can imagine. Furthermore, most of the non notable promotional articles you created were done after you received the Autopatrol. Hypothetically speaking If you don’t understand how GNG and RS works, i suggest you relinquish the perm, attend NPP academy and re-apply for the perm when you know how to tell how reliable sources and GNG works, but my belief is obviously you already know this, pinging our most advanced anti UPE editors Praxidicae, DGG, GSS, MER-C, Drmies to this discussion. A complete review of all articles created by this user indicates they are mixing productive work and mixing it with UPE. Celestina007 (talk) 21:02, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, Normally, you believe that all Nigerian editors are paid editors, except you. You've succeeded in chasing away all active Nigerian editors from Wikipedia and only you and me is left. Because I mean well, I've refused to leave this place for you. Alternatively, I have taken pictures of few subjects out of the 100+ articles I've created. Except you have concrete evidence that I'm engaging in UPE, I'll strongly advise you to stop accusing me of such. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 21:28, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Please remain on topic, I didn’t nab your numberous covert UPE's until Alexandermcnabb pinged me in an AFD about a recent article of yours nominated for deletion by DGG because it was a promotional article on a non notable entity. Furthermore DGG raised similar concern on my tp. However how did you get this file as your own work without declaring a COI? The photo on the Alex Nwankwo is all the cogent evidence to see to it that you are indefinitely blocked for covert UPE. Celestina007 (talk) 21:52, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, Of course, I took the photo in an event I attended and he was present too. You wouldn't know because you were not in the event and didn't see me taking it. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 21:57, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Jennifer Etito, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Nnadigoodluck, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Nnadigoodluck|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. Template:Z162 Celestina007 (talk) 22:02, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
