:{{reply to|Sajaypal007}} Sure, though I don't think Raso is a historical text, No mainstream scholar considered it as a historical text either. It's just a legendary poem with fictional tales which even get the ancestry of Prithviraja wrong. Not to talk about other myths like 17-18 Ghurid invasions and heroic Rajput resistance, Someshwar being killed in the battle against Bhima II, Parmardi being killed in Chauhan-Chandel struggle etc.
:It even claimes that Prithviraj killed Ghuri Sultan, which is obviously fabrication of Rajputs in later times to avenge the humiliation of their king in Tarain-1192.
:Even considering factually, Rima Hooja, Dashratha Sharma, K.S Lal estimated that his forces included over one hundred Rajput princes [Please see his main article where I added quotations as well from these scholars]; without quoting Ferishta which obviously means that his army strength was over one lakh atleast.
:In any case, Ferishta was still a learned scholar of his age whom many later scholars quoted in their respective works. Thanks.
