can ac/dc be written down as a scottish/australian band

[edit]

AC/DC was formed by Angus and Malcolm Young alongside Bon Scott all three who are scottish, something most people reading this should know. I am aware that Dave Evans, Colin Burgess are australian and the band was formed in australia but shouldnt it be considered a Scottish-Australian band considering the foundign members, bon Scott and the Young brothers were Scottish? I am aware that being formed in australia is reasoning for ac/dc being considered solely an australian band ut having the 3 founding members being scottish should count for something.

Please be kind and ignore any and all spelling mistakes and lack of capitalization, i also did not write down Larry Van Kriedt when mentioning original members who were all australian because he was with the group for around 4 months, Nov 1973-Feb 1974. This has been discussed countless times, and there is a long withstanding consensus to refer to the band as Australian. HorrorLover555 (talk) 02:21, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
