Agreed. This entire page reads like promotional material. Needs to be cleaned up to comport with WP:BLPBALANCE and WP:WEIGHT See all the references to how numerically the subject is exceptional:
"the first African-American woman federal judge nominated by President Donald Trump and confirmed by the Senate", "first African American woman to sit as a federal judge in the 140- year-history of the Northern District of Texas", "one of six actively serving Native American federal judges of 673 federal district court judges. When appointed to the federal bench, Brown became the only woman judge in the 233-year history of the Choctaw Nation to serve as a federal judge", "In 2005, Brown was one of 2.5% of attorneys under 40 selected by Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star in criminal prosecution", "In 2012 and 2013, Brown was one of 2.5% of attorneys under 40 selected by Super Lawyers magazine", "one of 5 people responsible for overseeing a $2.3 billion biennial budget and 10,000+ employees", "Brown was unanimously rated well-qualified by the American Bar Association", etc etc Mihir.pethe1 (talk) 03:46, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The previous version of the article was in the running for most promotional material I've seen on a single wiki article. It strains credulity to think that someone neutral inserted the mountain of insignificant promotional materials to the judge's page. I edited to try to make the page comport with WP:WEIGHT and WP:BALANCE. I also think the WP:NPOV issues may arise again if an editor who knows/works for the judge attempts to bring back the materials. Mihir.pethe1 (talk) 03:04, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
