Feedback
[edit]Ok - musings below: Casliber (talk · contribs) 12:03, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- I think any info on why it was placed in different genera would be very welcome in the taxo section, otherwise it does come across as a bit list-y.
- No subspecies or regional variation?
- I'll expand taxo to give more detail, probably tomorrow now. I've said that there are no subspecies or regional variation in "Description". Would it be better in Taxonomy? Thanks for suggestions Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:30, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Inconsistency
[edit]"The African crake is a smallish crake" vs "The African crake is larger than the corn crake". Not sure if it's the smallish crake, but it's definitely smaller than corn crake.--Vicpeters (talk) 20:33, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
AEWA
[edit]The species is listed in official site of this organization as Crecopsis egregia. Is information in Status section outdated?--Vicpeters (talk) 16:27, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
Normative usage of "genus"
[edit]For the normative syntax of the combination of "genus" with an associated Linnaean name, see any of the following Google Ngrams: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6. I hope the pattern is obvious. WolfmanSF (talk) 05:35, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
