Reliable source for the death of Igor Mangushev
[edit]A recent edit to the section covering Apachev's relationship to Igor Mangushev claims that he was executed by Wagner mercenaries. In all of my research, the vast majority of sources say Mangushev was executed by Ukrainian soldiers. The editor cited a Telegram post made by Russian military blogger Andrey Morozov, but I would like to get more reliable sources. I do not believe that a singular Telegram blogger's findings should dictate our understanding of the execution. Due to this, I am reverting the edits made by the anonymous editor.
Unfortunately, directly asking Morozov (the blogger) where he got his information is no longer possible, as he apparently committed suicide in 2024.
If anyone can do some research and find more information backing up that Telegram post, please make the edit and cite your sources. 42manako (talk) 19:08, 16 March 2025 (UTC)
