Suspension of Presidential Run

[edit]

I noticed that the article on Joe Exotic's suspension of his presidential campaign I wanted to use - is from the Daily Caller. Given that this source does not meet Wikipedia's reliability standards due to potential biases and lack of editorial oversight, I wanted to ask how I can include the suspension of his presidential run into the page? Any guidance would be much appreciated. It was announced on his youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnmPvdhRUrs and then got picked up by the daily caller and a weird site called wokespy so far only right wing conservative websites - should i just wait to see if other news outlets are picking this up? Updates needed on health and place of incarceration

[edit]

Can’t find my W login atm. “Health Problems” needs to be updated for last sentence that states “ “In November (2021), he said that he had an aggressive form of cancer, and has since been moved to Federal Medical Center, Butner in North Carolina for treatment.[130]”

As shown under “Conviction and Imprisonment” - “He was later moved back to FMC Fort Worth ...[108]”

Regarding ”Health Problems”, Dallas Morning News (Oct. 19, 2024) shows, “Tiger King’s Joe Exotic, who is incarcerated at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, was recently placed in quarantine after being infected with a contagious skin condition called scabies, his legal team says.”

Report could not get confirmation from the prison but says “In an email Tuesday, a representative for the Fort Worth prison confirmed an outbreak of scabies in one housing unit.”

Biography: Musicians

[edit]

It is not corresponding to the lead section of the article, since there is not a single word mentioning his musician career, neither in the infobox. JSoos (talk) 19:49, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Chief of Police?

[edit]

Where is the evidence, outside a ‘True Crime’ story, that this irresponsible weirdo was every a police officer, much less Chief of Police ? 2401:D006:A202:7E00:C9A:415A:1F79:43D2 (talk) 07:33, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Both New York and The Dallas Morning News say that he was. Carguychris (talk) 16:24, 30 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Accomplices?

[edit]

I'm bothered by the list of accomplices in the navbox. The body of the article never indicates that Brian Rhyne ever committed any crimes at all, let alone as an accomplice of Exotic. Hartpence and Finlay are said to have been arrested for (alleged) crimes of their own, but there's no indication that they assisted Exotic in the commission of the crimes he was convicted for. And Seth Posey isn't mention in the body of the article at all. —Mahāgaja · talk 09:25, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read this section of the article? Carguychris (talk) 16:25, 30 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
there should be details.
A murder-for-hire plan is something serious and would deserve some details what Joe Exotic actually arranged with whom. 2A01:599:A03:FAFF:8224:771C:B253:82C5 (talk) 13:44, 13 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
