Death and COAT

Started a discussion here. Believe we shouldn't be WP:COATRACKing a company page with BLP information. CNMall41 (talk) 22:55, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the death of the organization's founder, caused by stress related to her work at the organization and the harassment she received for it, which lead to the organization having a new leader, is very relevant to the SaveAFox Rescue. Obviously the page shouldn't include everything about Raines, but I think info about the circumstances of her death are due in the context of the organization itself. I see that there is now a large paragraph there which is WP:COAT in my opinion. I will leave for now but likely remove per WP:ONUS. This is reliably sourced but it is already covered in more detail on her page. No need to rehash here. It would be a merge at worst so AFD is te wrong venue. That said, even if kept sepearate, that her death came from criticism of how she ran SAF, and Ethans statement that he will continue SAF, means a brief acknowledge as I had written is fully appropriate. Thanks. I do not see these as appropriate if she has her own page (" Ethan said that Mikayla had had mental health issues through her life, including autism which had helped her to focus on animal rescue. He said that she was facing online harassment and criticism of how SaveAFox was run, which due to her empathy, she took too much to heart, and which led to her suicide."). As far as the move, it AfD is not appropriate were you thinking maybe RfC? Voice Cast for Wild Robot movie

Where does it say this? Also, a YouTube video is generally considered to be unreliable because it is self published which means anyone can say nonsense unchallenged on there.
