A GA from 2020 surprisingly enough. Still, there is a lot of uncited material that needs to be addressed. There was some even during it's passing which I don't why that was let go. Onegreatjoke (talk) 00:52, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Among the refugees in the Shanghai Ghetto was the Mirrer Yeshiva, including its students and faculty. On 3 September 1945, the Chinese Army liberated the Ghetto and most of the Jews left over the next few years. By 1957, there were only one hundred Jews remaining in Shanghai.
  • It does not administratively include an exclave of Jiangsu on northern Chongming or the two islands forming Shanghai's Yangshan Port, which are parts of Zhejiang's Shengsi County. Shanghai is roughly 1,100 km equidistant from Beijing to the north-west and 1400 km from Guangzhou to the south-east.
  • The most pleasant seasons are generally spring, although changeable and often rainy, and autumn, which is usually sunny and dry.   • There is a sizable Korean community of Shanghai and Japanese community of Shanghai largely in the Minhang District.
  • Other forms of Christianity in Shanghai include Eastern Orthodox minorities and, since 1996, registered Christian Protestant churches.
  • Shanghai is also home to the cadre school China Executive Leadership Academy in Pudong and the China Europe International Business School. The city government's education agency is the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
  • Futuristic structures, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the neon-illuminated Yan'an Elevated Road, are examples that have boosted Shanghai's cyberpunk image.
  • Other notable parks in Shanghai include Lu Xun Park, Century Park, Gucun Park [zh], Gongqing Forest Park, and Jing'an Park.

Issue under Society > Gangland Problems

The content in this section do not seem to be very credible. The content is clearly riddled with emotion, I was so shocked to see this on a wikipedia page for Shanghai.

E.g.: "Pacific Digital in Xujiahui is a local snake in Xujiahui, Shanghai . It has been selling fakes to cheat consumers for many years. Because it has the Xujiahui Police Station of the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau as an umbrella, consumers have no way to defend their rights after being frauded and may even be beaten by mall staff." 138.75.86.160 (talk) 09:56, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

Huangpu listed as another name

Huangpu usually refers specifically to the Huangpu River or Huangpu District, not the entire city. Calling it another name for Shanghai would be like listing Manhattan as an alternate name for New York City. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 03:54, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
