Hello, AryanRoy112, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Dal Lake did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome!  Speederzzz (Talk) (Stalk) 12:04, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page SMVD Katra–New Delhi Vande Bharat Express, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 18:07, 2 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

2025 IPL Victory Stampede (India)

[edit]

First, read the article about Crowd collapses and crushess, which explains what is a human stampede and what it isn't. Almost all events that sloppy journalists call "stampedes" are no such thing, it just makes for a snappier headline than "crowd crush".

If the IPL event is not already listed there, you can add it to List of fatal crowd crushes. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 10:01, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Read WP:NOTNP and WP:NOTNEWS and avoid disruptive editing

[edit]

@AryanRoy112, wikipedia is not a newspaper. Learn the basics of editing and don't put every recent incident on top of the page. Put it as per norms in the appropriate section in brief. You have repeatedly done the same things in more than 20 pages.

Go on to Wikipedia:Training/Newcomers/Editing basics and then make new edits on pages.

If you still continue your disruptive editing like this, I'll put up a complaint notice in ANI against you. Editking100 (talk) 17:06, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. I've already told you below that you are duplicating existing content. @Fyrael

@Remsense @ClaudineChionh

I already informed this user a few days back. Look at the thread above. Still the user is repeating the same kind of edit practice. The user makes a new section at top of a wiki page which is in news regd some event and adds WP:UNDUE info from news sources and acts like if wiki is a Newspaper.
Look at his edit contributions to my claim. Exact same pattern in all 32 edits the user made. Can you guys please help and sort out this issue.

Air India Flight 171

[edit]

Hello, I reverted your edit on Boeing 787 Dreamliner because there is a whole article on the crash at Air India Flight 171, which is linked from Boeing 787 Dreamliner § Fatal accidents. Before adding content to Wikipedia, it's worth searching to see whether it's already been covered in more depth in a different section or different article. — ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · email · global) 10:29, 13 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain namespaces ((Article)) for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Seraphimblade Talk to me 08:11, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Specifically, you have been repeatedly warned above to stop treating Wikipedia as a newspaper, yet have continued to add "breaking news" type material where it is not appropriate. When this many other editors have expressed concerns about your editing, it is time to stop doing it and address those concerns, not just plow forward. You have only been blocked from editing articles, so you are still able to seek advice at a forum like the Teahouse, and of course you're welcome to ask me any questions you'd like as well. But you can't just ignore other editors; Wikipedia is a collaborative project and communication is a requirement. Seraphimblade Talk to me 08:13, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
