Question from Kutchisake-onna (16:27, 25 May 2025)

[edit]

Hello, I was wondering if all articles have to be long, or if you can create a short article for something. --Kutchisake-onna (talk) 16:27, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Kutchisake-onna we do have plenty of short articles, but often because they are unfinished. What do you want to create an article about? That can help me answer your question better. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 16:28, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Who are the most overlooked and interesting Women in Red? We've no idea,
but we're putting together our list of the 100 most interesting ex-Women in Red.
We are creating the list to celebrate 10 years of Women in Red and we hope to present it at Wikimania.
We are ignoring the obvious, so do you have a name or subject we should consider?
Can you suggest a DYK style hook?
If you are shy about editing that page, you are welcome to add ideas and comments on the talk page.

Thank you for closure

[edit]

Thank you for closing the Newsjunkie ANI thread. It was a sprawling mess (which I hope I didn't contribute to overmuch) so I appreciate you taking the time to wade through it, form an assessment, and give it a proper close. Cheers! EducatedRedneck (talk) 11:01, 4 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Agentlin23 on User:Agentlin23/sandbox (01:50, 6 June 2025)

[edit]

How can i publish this to the public --Agentlin23 (talk) 01:50, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Agentlin23 Short answer: you don't. I've just deleted it as violating our policies on disclosing certain kinds of personal information. I suggest working on a different topic. Also, are you a sports agent? Because if so, you need to disclose that you are being paid on behalf of your clients to edit. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 02:41, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Acornell422 (01:07, 8 June 2025)

[edit]

I think there is a piece of information missing from a page. I will make the edit to the page--may I also create a separate page for this piece of information. Specifically, it is a related work for a prominent novel. I think it should be mentioned on the Novel's page and should probably have its own page. May I do that? --Acornell422 (talk) 01:07, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Acornell422 You are encouraged to WP:BEBOLD and make edits, yes! I would caution you though: if you're being paid to make the edits, or if you have some sort of conflict of interest (like knowing the author) you will need to disclose that. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 21:38, 9 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No--not being paid. Not really a conflict of interest. I dont know the author personally. I just think that there has been a failure to mention her work ona related page. Thanks for getting back to me. I have not decided if i am going to write up a page for her book. That might be more work than I have time for right now.
