Giulia Guerrini moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Giulia Guerrini, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, I'm Binksternet. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Carlos Gardel seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (soundtrack), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tim James and Adam Watts. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Still Alive (Demi Lovato song)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Still Alive (Demi Lovato song) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from umusic.ca/press-releases/demi-lovato-releases-still-alive. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Onel5969 TT me 11:16, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Styling
Per MOS:VAR, MOS:RETAIN, and WP:ALBUMSTYLE, there are multiple styles for track listings on album articles and if an existing style is at a page, it should not be unilaterally changed. Orphaned non-free image File:The Secret of Us – Gracie Abrams.png

Thanks for uploading File:The Secret of Us – Gracie Abrams.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Regarding your removal of "the" from before "American singer" and similar descriptions
Regarding this edit, please see WP:FALSETITLE. You probably shouldn't remove these. Ss112 13:57, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Do you know if there is any consensus on this? Because, as far as I can tell, this is a user essay and was added to Taylor Swift albums/songs articles, which is not the case. I do not see that its use is universal. CatchMe (talk) 14:15, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
- Of course there's not consensus on it—there wouldn't be on grammar. However, it's the way people talk in real life, and Wikipedia should reflect this. We wouldn't say "I like American singer Taylor Swift", we would say "I like the American singer Taylor Swift". Dropping "the" from writing is giving someone a false title, and comes from journalistic writing where words are often dropped to save space. We don't need to do this on Wikipedia. Ss112 18:35, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- I asked that since Wikipedia does not seem to follow this, even most of good/featured articles. CatchMe (talk) 22:07, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but we've conformed to a journalistic style of writing even when we shouldn't have. That's why most articles have it, and that's what the essay points out. Ss112 01:08, 23 August 2024 (UTC)

Your WikiCup submission: Talk:Helena (My Chemical Romance song)/GA1
Hi CatchMe, thanks for participating in the WikiCup. You recently submitted Talk:Helena (My Chemical Romance song)/GA1 for GANR points in the WikiCup, but you do not seem to have done a spot check. As per Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring, except for quick fails, all reviews must include a spot-check of a sample of the sources in the article, in accordance with WP:GAN/I#R3. Accordingly, in order for the review to be eligible for points, please conduct a spot check. Thank you. Epicgenius (talk) 16:57, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Epicgenius: Thanks for letting me know! I'm new there and a bit new to the GAN process overall, so I have some questions. In the review I checked most of the sources and stated it, how is it done properly? Should I specify them and their content? And the review is over so I don't know if I can fix it now. CatchMe (talk · contribs) 18:27, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
- @CatchMe, no problem. Even though the GAN has been promoted, you can add a subsection for source spotchecks under the existing review. You can just note which sources you checked, and note whether there were any problems with the sources you checked. – Epicgenius (talk) 18:41, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

Help with a FAC
Hey, CatchMe, it's good to see that you started reviewing other FACs. Just wanted to ask if you would be able to take a look at my FAC for "How You Get the Girl". The coordinators would like to see more comments from more editors; I tried to invite an editor who is outside the scope of pop music but he didn't seem interested. Your thoughts will always be appreciated. Medxvo (talk) 19:15, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Medxvo: Yes, I would like to participate in these processes and hopefully nominate some articles in the future. I'm unsure how my participation in your FAC would help since I'm unexperienced and not "someone who knows nothing about popular music", but I will take a look to the article and see if I could help. CatchMe (talk · contribs) 22:09, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- I personally would like to know what other editors think about the article... I can't really find editors outside the scope of pop music who would be interested in sharing their thoughts. You're capable of providing constructive feedback from what I've seen at GAN, you can share your thoughts here anytime if you're unsure about participating there, and thanks so much! Imaginal Disk
Psst. You have brought these three articles to GA status (Imaginal Disk, Image, and Death and Romance). Try nominating them at WP:GTC. — 💽 🌙Eclipse 💽 🌹 ⚧ (CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST) 01:00, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @LunaEclipse: Thanks for the idea! But shouldn't all singles be GAs? "Tunnel Vision" and "That's My Floor" don't even have articles, and from what I've found, there isn't much coverage for them. CatchMe (talk · contribs) 01:17, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- AFAIK, if some of them fail GNG, then no. I think the people there will understand that not all the singles are notable. — 💽 🌙Eclipse 💽 🌹 ⚧ (CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST) 05:12, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
Raye 2018 tour
Hey, just noticed this edit while checking my watchlist. Do you think this souce can be used for the 2018 tour? As per WP:RSPX, it should be fine since the user identity is confirmed, and the template:cite tweet can be used for this. What do you think? Medxvo (talk) 20:22, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you for your help as always! I've been struggling to find some reliable sources...Will see if I can get more information in a similar way. CatchMe (talk · contribs) 20:38, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- I'm glad I could help :)) More information is that it had seven shows, as seen here. That's all I could find from as much reliable sources as possible. Setlist.fm confirms that it only had seven shows (although it's unreliable), but just to confirm that it wasn't extended to more shows or something... Hope that's helpful! Hi, I was going to close the PR request for Christmas Tree Farm without nominating it but thought I could ask if you'd like to share your thoughts. Unfortunately it didn't gain much traction, I've worked hard on this one and I don't want to leave it without knowing its deficiencies. - Thanks so much, CatchMe, I really and truly appreciate it.
- As a side note, I gave the Raye Awards list another look today and it looks amazing. I just noticed that "Genesis" was actually nominated for the Rolling Stone UK Song of the Year, and they are including a part of the nomination poster here in the first image but without saying the song's name in the article, which is strange.... They probably just forgot to add it. I think you can add the Twitter source with no problems. Please feel free to ping me whenever you nominate the list so I can participate!! :)) Medxvo (talk) 18:38, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

[1] I observed that you didn't delete "Deluxe singles" part on The Secret of Us, but you did on 333. So I have a question, why you didn't delete "Deluxe singles" on the former but delete on the latter? Camilasdandelions (talk!) 03:49, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- The single has already been correctly removed from the infobox anyway. You have been informed about WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS but you do not seem to care.
