[edit] Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. livelikemusic (TALK!) 21:09, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- I fundamentally disagree per Period (Kesha album). I am very familiar with the MOS, and I 100% think that this article has special reason to go against. I read the talk page discussion deciding whether or not to move it to ". (Album)", and I agree with that decision and its reasonings. But if someone reads the article and decides to find it in her discography, they will not find an album titled Period. The title of the album simply is . and that should be noted in the introduction to the article (currently, the only reference to the title being . is in the Release and Promotion section, and I don't think it's exceptionally clear anyway). If it were called PERIOD or period, then I would have no issue with not mentioning it. But I see this as a different situation, akin to Ed Sheeran's ×, +, ÷, and -.
- But I will make a talk page post and go from there. Grammar-style (talk) 21:22, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
