Hello HannahDATAtab. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:DATAtab, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:HannahDATAtab. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=HannahDATAtab|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. It is mandatory that you make this disclosure as you are employed by the company. qcne (talk) 09:14, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello qcne! Thank you very much for your feedback! I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits. DATAtab is a statistical software widely used for data analysis and research. Therefore, in my view it is essential to have a Wikipedia page to provide accurate and comprehensive information about it. HannahDATAtab (talk) 09:09, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @HannahDATAtab. Please confirm, are you employed or in some other way contracted by DATAtab? Your username "HannahDATAtab" gives the impression you are? qcne (talk) 09:10, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi qcne! I can confirm that I am employed by DATAtab; however, I am writing this contribution voluntarily and without any directive or mandate from the company or financial compensation. My intention is to share informative content because I think the software should be listed in Wikipedia, as many other statstical software programs do. Please let me know if you need any further information. HannahDATAtab (talk) 09:29, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@HannahDATAtab You absolutely do have a conflict of interest and you must make the proper disclosure. Please disclose as per WP:PAID immediately.
Also, are you writing these replies with the help of an AI chatbot? Please don't do that. qcne (talk) 09:39, 13 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Qcne! Thanks for your reply! I just added a disclosure statement to my main user page. I hope that it is correct in this way. Regards, Hannah HannahDATAtab (talk) 08:58, 17 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @HannahDATAtab, I've fixed that for you so it displays properly. qcne (talk) 11:56, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, thank you for your support! Regards, Hannah HannahDATAtab (talk) 09:55, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Theroadislong thank you for our feedback! I will continue working on my submisson. Have a nice day. Regards, Hannah HannahDATAtab (talk) 09:41, 12 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please write accurate edit summaries "Changes to sandbox made" it is NOT your sandbox it is a draft article. Theroadislong (talk) 08:23, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sorry, I will do so. Regards, Hannah HannahDATAtab (talk) 08:27, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Theroadislong, may I ask you a question about my article draft? Is it a good idea to add additional information from literature that explains things which are not directly about the software? eg. an explanaition of descrptive statistics from a statitics book? Or is it better to just add a link to another Wikipedia article about descriptice statistics? Thank you so much for your reply! Regards, Hannah HannahDATAtab (talk) 08:54, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again @Theroadislong! I finished the revised version of my article draft and added several independent and reliable secondary sources that talk about DATAtab and about what in their opinion makes it worthy of note. Thank you for your feedback and support and kind regards, Hannah HannahDATAtab (talk) 08:58, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
