- Thank you for reviewing my submission on The R.A.T., a Sinhala-language teledrama broadcast on ITN Sri Lanka in late 2024. I appreciate your time and feedback.
- I understand the article was declined due to a lack of in-depth, reliable, and independent secondary sources. I would like to clarify the situation and respectfully seek your guidance:
- The R.A.T. aired on ITN, a state-owned national television network with a long-standing broadcasting history.
- Unfortunately, due to competitive media environments in Sri Lanka, other major newspaper publishers (such as those affiliated with rival TV stations) do not cover or promote content from ITN, even if it is culturally or technically significant.
- As a result, coverage of The R.A.T. is limited to brief listings, internal promotion, and two offline newspaper interviews focused on the director, Sampath Kumarathunga. These articles do mention the show, but the emphasis is on him rather than in-depth reviews of the production itself.
- Additionally, the series was featured in the 2025 Sumathi Awards voting campaign (see: Sumathi Awards Facebook post), reaching the top five most-voted teledramas as of June 7, 2025.
- Given the above, I understand that it may be difficult to meet Wikipedia’s general notability guideline at this time.

- @Sunethkha: Please note the Wikipedia guideline on conflict of interest (COI) and FAQ for article subjects. As you have clearly stated you are the producer of the television series in question.
