Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you have added Creative Commons licensed text to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Roman Smoluchowski. You are welcome to import appropriate Creative Commons licensed content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Compatibly licensed sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any Creative Commons content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 17:48, 22 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I see your point Truthisclear (talk) 19:26, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Truthisclear! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Control copyright icon Hello Truthisclear! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. A selection of violations: [4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]. Splitting edits

[edit]

Please don't split up edits, especially content from it's accompanying source, like at Tyagarah, New South Wales[12][13][14][15], Laugarvatn[16][17], Antonio Carattino[18][19], or Pisania ignea[20][21][22][23]. Hello. I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. Prose you find online, in books, in magazines, and in newspapers is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. There's a simplified version of our copyright rules at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:37, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You have been warned multiple times. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 17:00, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you user: fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four. I noticed you changed user Dianaa's threat to be your own. Also reversed/deleted all my well intentioned work, even my consultation with the mentor in history. I may have made mistakes as a new editor, and I assure you my edits were all made in good faith. Truthisclear (talk) 19:45, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
"reversed/deleted all my well intentioned work" – I removed copyright violations, copyrighted content needs to be removed if found as stated at WP:COPYVIO#Parts of article violate copyright. Wikipedia may suffer legal consequences if copyrighted content is not removed.
"I noticed you changed user Dianaa's threat to be your own" – You were warned multiple times[28][29][30] with that last warning being from Dianaa, and still added more violations, which led to my most recent warning [31].
"I assure you my edits were all made in good faith" – Copyright violations may not be made in any faith. Carefully read and comply with the contents of, and linked pages within, all warnings you have been provided. You can also see WP:COPYPASTE for a short explainer essay about copyright policy.
