Article provides no evidence of the company being notable per WP:CORP ╟─TreasuryTag►Captain-Regent─╢ 18:34, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong keep Very notable company with ample coverage in a plethora of reliable sources. Nominator is welcome to add additional content citations if he's not satisfied with what is already being used. Doing so would be far more worthwhile than spending time arguing over whether the subject should be deleted entirely (it shouldn't). Freakshownerd (talk) 18:46, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Nominator is welcome to add additional content citations. Additional content citations? It is your job, as the article creator, to list sufficient independent reliable sources. Currently, I don't believe that you have. Most of what is [very poorly] listed is simply the company's own website (not independent), sources from organisations who have received sponsorship money from this company (WP:SIGCOV explicitly excludes "advertising" as an independent source, which is what sponsorship pages basically are), or otherwise self-published.╟─TreasuryTag►stannary parliament─╢ 18:49, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
DeleteNo indication that this meets WP:CORP. Perhaps Freakshownerd should read WP:AFD to learn how to make AfD arguments. ALXVA (talk) 19:54, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]- Keep User:Freakshownerd is new here. Though I had never heard of Featherlite, Inc. it's on the NASDAQ exchange (might not be now), and gets significant coverage in the business world [1]. According to this [[2] it had sales in 1998 of $190 million dollars. Seems to meet WP:GNG for me and WP:CORP as well. I do think that it needs to be rewritten in a less promotional fashion, but still, one can't judge notability simply on how the article looks so far. Mandsford 21:16, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - on NASDAQ, plenty of significant coverage, meets WP:CORP, WP:GNG. Due to the poor state of the article, I'll flag it for rescue. Claritas § 21:07, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I change my vote to keep, but the article needs work. ALXVA (talk) 21:18, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep Won industry awards, used by NASCAR, gets news coverage. Click on the Google news link at the top of the AFD. See? Simple. Dream Focus 05:14, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - Fails WP:CORP. The vast majority of the references only prove that this company sponsors a lot of events. There isn't any indication that Nascar uses their products widely, only that this company is good at giving away their products for free to Nascar (and other events). SnottyWong talk 22:52, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- They do not give it away for free. If you read the article it says
- Featherlite is closely associated with NASCAR. The company created the first ever custom aluminum race car semi trailer for NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt and team owner Richard Childress. Today Featherlite is the official trailer of NASCAR]][4] and supplies approximately 85 percent of NASCAR Sprint Cup teams with semi trailer race car haulers and vending trailers. Among the teams Featherlite has supplied are those of Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
- A super famous racer ordered one, and now everyone in NASCAR uses it. Dream Focus 23:40, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - Hi. I'm the user who created this article. I think it should be kept, but I'm still pretty new to the editing standards here. I do think that Featherlite is a notable company, and I know for a fact that most of the Nascar car haulers are Featherlite trailers, among others. Full disclosure, though--I know this because a friend of mine works there. Anyway, the best place to start, it seems, is to get some other sources if I understand this correctly? - Keep per DreamFocus. Let's not discourage this new editor who wants to do right by this article and learn the ways of this mysterious encyclopedia.--Mike Cline (talk) 16:42, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Vent we should all be ashamed of ourselves re this editor: User:Heartfelt Leaflet. In 15 months since their 1st contribution, not a welcome, prod notice or Afd notice was placed on their talk page by any of us. That is no way to grow this encyclopedia.--Mike Cline (talk) 16:54, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy keep per new sources and information given. Given, I have heard of this company many, many times, but then again, NASCAR is pretty big here. Company easily meets WP:CORP, it just needs some work. Undead Warrior (talk) 22:32, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
