- Comment: I continued going through tagging for copyright violations, but on second look, it seems almost everything added by this user was a copyright violation; they're either direct copies from English language sources or word-for-word translations of Polish sources. I think the best course of action would be a revision deletion back to this old version. --Grnrchst (talk) 12:55, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

- 2006 Sanaa prison escape (history · last edit · rewrite) from... everything. Every single ref I have checked so far is CLOPing. You can see what I have done so far at Template:Did you know nominations/2006 Sanaa prison escape, so I won't reiterate all of that. But this needs some serious cleanup, and potentially a listing at GAR. I am not sure what the protocol for what needs to be blanked in this instance; is it the entire article? (Will ChristieBot edit-war the GA icon back in?) If this process results in much of the article being removed, this would obviously need to go to GAR. Courtesy pings to @Hsnkn and Locust member as the GA nominator and reviewer, respectively. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 03:19, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- @HouseBlaster I made some edits to the first two sections, could you see how they look now? I wrote this article when I was still pretty new to editing so I guess it didn't phase me that I was basically copying my references. Hsnkn (talk) 04:08, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Hsnkn: Thank you for taking a look! I'll have a look in the morning when I am more awake :) HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 04:11, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- I made a couple of minor changes to the Context section (Special:Diff/1292029228/1292031418), but otherwise that looks good. As for the escape section, anything in quotation marks does not need rephrasing. (Of course, it needs an inline citation, but that's not a problem here.) I'll let someone else review the Escape section; I am far from a CLOP expert. Best, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 20:40, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- @HouseBlaster If there's concerns about the entire article then yeah, the whole thing would be blanked, unfortunately. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 18:22, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing this out. I didn't find anything in my spot check or on Earwig when doing my review so I thought copyright issues were in the clear but I should have worked harder on that part of my review. I'll keep this in mind when reviewing in the future - I think Hsnkn is handling the situation well so a GAR most likely will not be needed. Locust member (talk) 02:26, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
- @HouseBlaster I've rewritten most of the English-sourced sentences in the temporary subpage, do you know how would I go about reinstating the article? Hsnkn (talk) 22:47, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
- Honestly, not sure—I know CP is the place for resolving this issues, but it is still a bit of a black box to me... I'll let someone more familiar with how the place works respond. Best, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 22:53, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
