Cleanup calendar : This month | August | July | Old | Instructions

Please read Wikipedia:Cleanup process for instructions on maintaining this page. There may be more suitable pages for requests, see the resources for collaboration box on the right.

For articles that just need wikification, you should use the wikify template. See Category:Articles that need to be wikified for articles that need wikifying.

If an article needs further cleaning up, add cleanup to the top of the article. To see articles with this tag added, see Category:Cleanup

Some editors prefer that helpers work on leftovers and older articles, just to deal with them and get them out of the way. See the cleanup calendar for requests from previous months. But either preference, new or old; all help is appreciated. If you have a cleanup routine, add your name and your routine preferences (how often, old/new articles, what subjects, etc ) to the cleanup routine list.

  • William Baylebridge - I assume this person is an author? RickK 00:13, Sep 12, 2004 (UTC)
  • Australian poet of philosophical Vitalism and populist nationalism. How attractive that sounds. Hope original contributor has plans for more; if not, I'll add a couple of sentences. Bishonen 01:06, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)

re-did translation --Deelkar
formed complete sentences and linked the text, no particular knowledge of the children, so I let that one be. --Deelkar

Delete fast (immediately???) - as of now it looks like a genocide apologist, 100% point of view rant represented by no credible experts. If this has any backing at all it must be referenced properly (links, ISBNs, newspaper pages, non Serbian sources) before this can even be considered being left in. Particularly critical would be a pair of comparative photos of the concentration camp scene at the same moment from the point of view of both television companiesMozzerati 20:42, 2004 Sep 9 (UTC)
combined into office expanded and rounded out... could still do with some more work e.g. temporary offices, office space companies, major company headquarters, some word about about architects, but it's definitely better, and most of the links at least work.

I did an arguably kludgy tweak to Template:Alkanes the avoids the overlap[1], but maybe someone can come up with a better solution. Niteowlneils 00:48, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)
PS I believe the overlap problem only existed on the three with Infoboxes: methane, ethane, and propane. Niteowlneils 01:15, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Zackquill Morgan - unwikified -FZ
  • Darryl Morris - Format is gossipy and requires knowledge of the TV series. — RJH
  • Montana Senate Upper case - > lower case, find category, construct a table for the messy data --Fenice 05:48, 9 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Names converted and table built. But I don't know what column headings to use. Also the McNutt row has an extra column of data. RJH 21:51, 10 Sep 2004 (UTC)

September 7

I meant two sections within the article itself rather than two separate articles. Jackiespeel 15:58, 8 Sep 2004 (UTC)

September 6

Now merges to Alfa_Romeo_33, better but still needs attention, better but not much. - Hobie 19:47, 2004 Sep 6 (UTC)

September 5

I fixed some typos, and removed some confusion between US attorney general and US state attorney general, but there may be more. Niteowlneils 14:01, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)

September 4

Not porn, but all link to www.the-Bikini.com--we should try to find some less commercial image links. Niteowlneils 13:40, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Linkword - half-baked description of a language learning method (poss. commercial). --Ianb
FYI-has been posted on VfD. Niteowlneils 13:40, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)

September 3

I've copyedited the article, someone who knows more about Kumbh Mela needs to look at the questions in Talk. Aecis

List of video game music series

The following articles are lists. They require wikification. There is no index, the table is messy, and although the information for each game or CD might be correct, the table information does not line up with the content data. (i.e. A date is used for Studio Name) -- AllyUnion (Talk) 07:48, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Additional note, a few of these articles still exceed 32 K. Some consideration might be taken when cleaning up these pages. -- AllyUnion (Talk) 08:00, 3 Sep 2004 (UTC)
+I added a TOC for all of the articles, MHO is that we should get rid of the tables (or at least this formatting of them), put a little less information in the articles here, and give them all their own articles. This'll take forever, but...hey, it'll look a lot better! Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 14:21, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Is it just me, or do these lists have "copyvio" written all over them? Compare the first listing on List of video game music A ".hack// GAME MUSIC Perfect Collection (Limited Edition)" with this page. I found many other matches to various websites, all of which have copyright notices posted. If so, then these need to be removed ASAP. -- Netoholic @ 04:37, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
If these are copyvio -- then leave the foundation of the page there (the TOC, etc.) and let's start over, possibly make this a wikiproject to make a bunch of articles + this list. Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 18:15, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

September 2

  • Michael J. Adams - needs wikification and probably some reformatting to improve readability.
  • Westland Gardens After reading this, I'm still not even sure what exactly this place is, and what if anything is notable about it. Also needs wikification.

Livajo 15:10, 2 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • Fletcher - substub that's not really relevant to anything. --DMG413 00:31, 2 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • War of 1812 - has informative sections on the motives of the parties to the conflict, but I think they need to be formalized and NPOVed. Gazpacho 16:06, 2 Sep 2004 (UTC)

September 1

  • "To Live and Shave in L.A." - unwikied text dump in need of POVectomy.
    • Note: User keeps removing cleanup notice. Naughty. I've left polite word. - Lucky 6.9 23:29, 1 Sep 2004 (UTC)
      • Really reads like a copyvio. RickK 23:37, Sep 1, 2004 (UTC)
        • User:GJKWiki It's not a copyvio. I wrote it, and I'm a fan of the group. I'm sorry about mucking up the Wiki rules - I didn't realize there were so many!
          • User:GJKWiki Please accept my apology - I assumed that the "cleanup" tag that appeared was some sort of a reminder. The FAQ is a little daunting. Sorry about the too-POV'd writing. Guess I'm not quite ready for Encyclopedia Britannica.
  • Vassilakis - needs tons of work and a major POV-ectomy. Also at wrong title. RickK 19:53, Sep 1, 2004 (UTC)
  • Meaning Needs formatting, more encyclopedic style, someone who can explain the 'alternate approach' a little better. -- Sparky the Seventh Chaos
  • Fresh off the boat seems to need a look for potential POV issues. ffirehorse
  • Politics of the Maldives - minor POV issue; see this diff. Peter O. (Talk)
  • Nominalism - needs encyclopedic tone. Peter O. (Talk)
  • Quba needs expansion Lacrimosus
  • Drew Bledsoe deserves a much cleaner article, esp. that focuses on things other than his yardage and what teams he's played against. - KeithTyler
  • Markovian Parallax Denigrate POV, conspiracy theories, speculation
