Almost every article in Wikipedia could do with some expansion. This page is for listing those stubs, substubs and other articles that have decent information, but that you find embarrassingly short or insufficient for an encyclopedia of the stature to which Wikipedia aspires.

  • Fixed base operator - I've never worked at an airport and mainly paraphrased other information on the internet. Someone with some authority really needs to go over this and add anything necessary. Bastique 05:03, 28 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Korea Jindo Dog - Needs info on origin and original purpose, size and weight, type of coat & other appearance things. Elf | Talk 00:08, 28 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Some of these might have been already listed, however since I was the one who placed them into the expansion category, I am listing them now.

  • Alumn - Originally marked as a stub, but because of the length, I felt it should be worked on as a request for expansion. -- Allyunion 05:42, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Apse - This article seems to be a work in progress, but I suppose anyone who wants to contribute and know about this topic should help whoever is trying to finish it. -- Allyunion 05:42, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Canadian Labour Congress - This page was marked as a stub, but I felt it was too big for a stub. The original request for this article is "Please add info such as organizational structure and names of people currently in charge, etc." -- Allyunion 05:42, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Citibank - Citibank is a very notable corporation. I am surprised this article isn't longer. -- Allyunion 05:42, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • Conga - Poccil reverted my changes, requesting this to be a Wiktionary definition. Well, in my opinion, if it can't be expanded then it needs to be moved. -- Allyunion 05:53, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Daryl Hall - Notable person, someone should have Daryl Hall's music. -- Allyunion 05:53, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • Palmach - Originally marked as a stub, this article is way too long to be a stub. However, whoever left the stub notice most likely intended for someone to expand the article further, so I've decided to list it here. -- Allyunion 05:53, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
  • President of the general council - This requires serious attention. This is listed on the Most wanted stubs with 95 links! It has not been touched for expansion or anything. -- Allyunion 05:53, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Is the heading an accurate translation of the French? 212.85.6.26 17:57, 31 Aug 2004 (UTC)

August 15-21

  • 1947 UN Partition Plan - The article says, "To make the committee more neutral, none of the Great Powers were represented", but doesn't elaborate which nations this refers to. Nor does it say what nations were on the UNSCOP, only saying that it was comprised of "several states". - Solers 01:04, 17 Aug 2004 (GMT+1)
  • Sharecropping system - A lot more can be said about it than the three lines in this article.--Alsocal 02:59, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • James Clerk Maxwell - Minor additions to get this page to featured article. See the Talk page for what needs expansion

Science fiction on television has a long and detailed history of the genre on British television, which I wrote for the page a couple of months ago, but only a single paragraph on American science-fiction television. When I did the edit adding all the details of British TV sci-fi history, I only left the stub paragraph for the US there as I assumed someone more knowledgeable about US TV sci-fi than myself would come along and add to it. Although there have been a couple of minor details added, it still looks embarrassingly small when compared to the section on UK TV sci-fi, which is rather unbalanced considering the American contribution to the genre. Angmering

Well, I've now done some research and added to this section of the article myself. I think it's okay, not as much context and background as the UK section, but more than enough basic history and information, I hope! Angmering 18:33, 1 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Prose seems suprisingly brief, considering it encompasses such a large amount of literature, and when compared to the Poetry or Literature articles. Anyone with ideas? Some useful additions might be authors, their works, history, etc --Brendanfox 10:52, 30 Jun 2004 (UTC)

U.S. two dollar bill, U.S. five dollar bill, U.S. ten dollar bill, U.S. twenty dollar bill, U.S. fifty dollar bill, and U.S. hundred dollar bill Can you expand these articles by putting other milestones in the bills' histories?? You may use http://www.currencygallery.org as a reference tool. In addition, the $20 bill has pictures of both the front and the back, the $100 has a picture of the front, and the $5, $10, and $50 have no pictures at all. Can you please add some pictures in?? Also, if you have any milestones in their histories that date prior to the time of the Federal Reserve, please label them as "pre-Federal Reserve history", making the history currently mentioned designated as "Federal Reserve history". For the $1 bill, just use the Federal Reserve note page. 66.32.99.119 01:39, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)

  • More milestones to the $50 bill's history were put up recently, but can you still try paralleling this with the other pages?? 66.32.136.74 00:38, 28 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Comedy film: User Koyaanis Qatsi makes this great suggestion..."Maybe we could start with a historical overview of comedians in the silents, going through to early talkies and different movements (physical comedy, intellectual comedy, etc. and their overlaps). On through to maybe absurdist & postmodern comedy." Wish someone could or would. Kingturtle 07:56, 5 Jan 2004 (UTC)

History of literature - Although the title suggests this topic is so all-encompassing it could have its own wiki, we might succeed in giving a well-balanced survey no longer than the usual article of that kind. Right now, however, this seems to be work in progress abandoned by a sadly missing Wikipedian. --KF 22:48, 3 Jan 2004 (UTC)
