For a quicker response on such requests, one should ask that 'old text' be changed to 'new text', rather than basically saying 'here's a source so change it'. I've moved a sentence about Vance's genealogical descent to the end of the paragraph, noting his claim as opposed to the DUP not finding a link to Ireland. —ADavidB08:45, 27 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not finding evidence of Irish descent doesn't disprove that he is scots irish. The whole idea of being scots irish is that they are Scottish colonists who moved to Northern Ireland, then from there moved to America.
