James Gillman citations

[edit]

Hi, thanks for your work on this article. As part of WP:NPP, I did a spot check of the citations, and noticed most, if not all, are bogus. For example, the doi for The Woodsworth Circle leads to the wrong volume, and a check of the correct volume and issue show no matching article. The URL for English History is also broken, p. 267 of Ashton 1997 is unrelated, Gillman is not mentioned on p. 195 of Hayter 1968, and no such article as you cited appears in The Lancet. Is there any chance you used an AI to generate or help you write this article? Regardless, I have moved it to draftspace for now. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 22:25, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Same goes for Matthias Schlitte. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 22:43, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the tips and help! I'm in the process of learning how to do it right. Daughtzerjer (talk) 10:11, 10 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your recently recreated article James Gillman still has the same issues. Half the refs are non-existent. Please make sure they actually exist before using them. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 02:06, 16 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Allan Perry
added a link pointing to Effingham
George Willis (physician)
added a link pointing to William Willis
James Watson (Spencean)
