Earth is flat was when they discovered minus -, early days of maths. People knew back then earth was round , as when you look up and take roundits no were ear flat but round. A circle and inside circle is plus + the cross the 4 angle star. Plus and minus were found about same time and that was early days of maths. Eart if flat had nothing to do with shape.
