Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Peller (comedian), without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Can you please allow the page move request to get participation and last for seven days to allow consensus to be reached per WP:RM? Vanderwaalforces (talk) 22:59, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Nicolaas van Wijk, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. ThaesOfereode (talk) 23:17, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Welcome! Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 23:18, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at EV Group. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:13, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Dclemens1971 Hello, you flagged the page to add, and I'm volunteering to properly edit it. But you're disturbing my process. I'm not the article creator, I'm just volunteering. I see your flagged the page in afd, with a statement that the company has not reliable references, upon a single search query, Google returned many references, which is why I'm restructuring. please let's avoid the clash and let me work on the article, it will still be in afd, the tag will not be removed. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 15:16, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- You can edit the page without blanking whole sections and removing every existing reference. What you're doing is disruptive. Feel free to improve the page, but do so without removing entire sections. Feel free to use your sandbox if you need a space for test edits or to save work that's not ready to move into mainspace. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:18, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Dclemens1971 What you're doing is suppressing information. if you can check clearly on the history, there's only one instance of blanking where I removed the entire content to put in something fresh, didn't event take 30 seconds. you reverted it before I finished.
- Now I'm done with the article, and inserting references to it which I find valid. then you reverted the whole page again. don't you think it's stressing?
- please permit me to finish editing it, won't take more than 3 minutes. all I ask is for you to look away. thanks Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 15:21, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- I didn't revert your first blanking, @Warrenmck did. And your last revision left zero references, it just took them away completely, which is unacceptable to leave in mainspace. That's what a sandbox is for; if you are replacing references, wait until you have the new references ready to add. Finally, I never said all the references are unacceptable; I only said that none of them establish the notability of the company. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:25, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender. Akinola Alabi and RM procedures
Hey! I see you moved Akinola Alabi after having started a requested move yourself. If you're going to start a requested move discussion, you should be waiting until an uninvolved editor closes it (see the closing instructions for requested moves for more info). You can move pages without requested move discussions, but if you expect anyone to oppose the move, you should take it through RM.
Given I am also involved (I !voted for titling it Akin Alabi), I don't feel comfortable reverting this myself to wait for an official close or relist without having you okay it, so are you okay with me reverting the move to wait for an official close? (I would ask you to revert it yourself, but I don't think you can for technical reasons.) Skarmory (talk • contribs) 00:04, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Speedy deletion nomination of Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender
Hello Cameremote,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Orphaned non-free image File:CAN-SG Logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:CAN-SG Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 15:19, 10 January 2025 (UTC)

Welcome!
Hello, Cameremote, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Grema Sulaiman, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Deletion discussion about Grema Sulaiman
Hello Gonisulaimann, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Grema Sulaiman, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Grema Sulaiman.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Ibjaja055}}

- @Ibjaja055: Hello there!, please kindly understand that the article is currently undergoing editing and changes. As for notability, all valuable references pointing to the subject's notablity are herein attached and the person in subject is a high ranking individual in Nigeria. I made sure i was brief and concise with neutral writing point while writing about the subject. In response to your comment of "being a director general of an organization that is not notable", I request you to read about the organization properly. It is a recognized organization by the Public Investment Fund and other large Nigerian entities like the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources. please kindly don't flag articles you don't specialize in and leave them to be moderated by nigerian editors. i have read countless nigeria articles where some organizations are not even notable, yet they pass the criteria of notability. i believe there should be no bias. ~~ Gonisulaimann (talk) 11:34, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- Before nominating a recently created article, please consider that many good articles started their Wikilife in pretty bad shape. Unless it is obviously a hopeless case, consider sharing your reservations with the article creator, mentioning your concerns on the article's discussion page, and/or adding a "cleanup" template, instead of bringing the article to AfD.

Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, Cameremote. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Grema Sulaiman, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template), including links or details of reliable sources that support your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. You are advised to visit the links in this message and follow the process at WP:COIDISCLOSE to openly disclose your conflict of interest. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 06:25, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:SG-FLN.jpeg

A tag has been placed on File:SG-FLN.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://www.24hdz.dz/legislatives-candidature-sg-du-fln-rejetee/ and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 15:46, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Whpq Hope this won't get me banned or unable to edit, it was unintentional and I reckon I have to familiarize with Wikipedia's Copyright policy. When trying to upload the file, a popup appears that indicates if I'm unsure about the copyright status, I should still upload, an experienceed editor will check to see the copyright status. That's exactly what made me publish the file.
- I sincerely apologize. Cameremote (talk) 16:08, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
- This will not result in you being blocked unless you make a habit of uploading copyrighted photos. Copyright gets very complicated. If you are unsure of the copyright status, the best thing to do is assume it is copyrighted. You can get help by asking questions at Media copyright questions. Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Cameremote! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 16:27, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
