Hello Florida Army - you've been busy! I note you added text that looks like a hatnote at Borrowing Trouble. A correct hatnote would follow the standards at WP:HATNOTE and use {{distinguish}} (it's important because properly formatted hatnotes display differently on mobile devices). The other problem here, though, is there's no mention at the target Selig Polyscope Company. One way I've used in the past is to use a footnote in the lead to contain the text "Not to be confused with ..." but that ought to have a citation to a source if it's not mentioned anywhere else. I hope that helps, Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:33, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi User:Shhhnotsoloud. Noting an earlier film from a major studio had the same title seem worthwhile to me. I note your point about the earlier movie not being noted in the studio's entry. Is it noted in the director or star's? Is their a filmography list for the studio? Removing the hatnote and making it hidden is not an improvement. Happy editing. FloridaArmy (talk) 12:51, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

On 23 May 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Walter Ben Hare, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that dramatist Walter Ben Hare became wealthy by writing plays that were rarely performed professionally? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Walter Ben Hare. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Walter Ben Hare), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- I resubmitted User:Samoht27 because of the substantial coverage in reliable sources including a New York Times article that states "In the 19th century, perhaps the most celebrated commercial nursery in America was Parsons nursery in Flushing, founded in the late 1830's by a Quaker named Samuel Parsons and run by his two plant-hunting sons, Samuel and Robert. The family's agents scoured the globe for rare specimens, which the Parsonses propagated and then shipped to great estates on both sides of the Atlantic. Two famous customers were Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux." Can you explain why this isn't substantial coverage of the subject inr reliable independent sources? I have a little over 600 drafts listed at User:BD2412/sandbox/archive/03 which will begin aging out as of July 15. Most of these are historical state supreme court justices. I am trying to rather methodically go through these and make improvements to reset the draft clock, and would appreciate anything you can do along these lines. Cheers! Just a reminder, because you've been doing it too much of late: American politicians are subcategorized by specific office, location and/or time period, and are not filed directly in Category:American politicians itself simultaneously with being in subcategories for specific office, state, city or time period. The base Category:American politicians should only have subcategories in it, and should not directly contain any individual articles. Bearcat (talk) 18:17, 15 June 2025 (UTC)

The article Harold Paulk Henderson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
