User is using multiple sock IPs to vandalize page, replacing all instances of "Grizzly Man" to "Grizzly Bear Handyman". —tonyst (talk) 01:25, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
In addition, the user created a userbox promoting vandalism: User:Sittingwiththehuzz/PTTV
Given the persistent abuse and impersonation, I am requesting an immediate block.

Place requests for protection increases at the BOTTOM of this section. If you cannot find your request, check the archive of requests or, failing that, the page history. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Reason: Flag carrier of Israel, a contentious topic. While the airline is for commercial use, there are still links to the current Israel-Palestinian Conflict. Request WP:ECP. HwyNerd Mike (talk | contribs) 18:16, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Edit protection requested. I believe a Semi-protection is warranted in this case. There's a low effort edit war where an unknown editor keeps removing an accurately placed category without explanation. This bishop is recently in the news as the first bishop to be appointed in the United States by the new pope and the unknown editor keeps removing the category that reflects this. Killuminator (talk) 21:45, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
Reason: I wasn't checking this page for a long time but look at the edit history. Crazy. Please protect it for a long time, at least 90. Beshogur (talk) 22:31, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
Reason: Semi-protection (indefinite) - Vandalism: Persistent disruptive editing and adding any hoaxes, fake, unsourced, unreliable and unverifiable information across Wikipedia like this:
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page, please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected, please use the section below.
Check the archives if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among {{Edit protected}}, {{Edit template-protected}}, {{Edit extended-protected}}, or {{Edit semi-protected}} to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed.
If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.

I am autopatrolled and an NPP reviewer; I would actually like to nominate User:Kjansen86 to be autopatrolled. I just reviewed and cheerfully accepted almost a dozen perfectly-formulated articles on Zoroastrian texts, and they have made more than 25 overall. Looking at their talk page, this appears to be an experienced and effective editor. Checking their AfD stats, I find one (successful) AfD that they initiated, indicating an awareness of notability. We may as well take them out of the NPP backlog. (This is my first time nominating someone else so if I did it wrong, please let me know!) ~ L 🌸 (talk) 21:17, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
Already done (automated response): This user already has the "autoreviewer" user right.— MusikBottalk 21:20, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
@LEvalyn: I went ahead and adjusted the nomination so it reflects who's actually being discussed, hope you don't mind! For future reference, you can use the "add request" link at the top of this page and replace the {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} with whichever user you're nominating. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 21:42, 16 April 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I have created over 30 articles, none of which have been deleted. I am well-versed in Wikipedia's notability guidelines and currently assist new Burmese editors. I focus on creating articles related to Myanmar that need to be written, including those covering current events. Granting me autopatrolled rights would help reduce the backlog of articles awaiting review. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration. Hteiktinhein (talk) 14:43, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
(Non-administrator comment) At the pace this editor is creating, I would expect granting the flag to help reduce the backlog. These are solid articles; talk pages are created, which helps as well. I am AGF'ing on the Burmese language sources but have no concerns. @Hteiktinhein, a couple nits: on Padein Prince rebellion, the section of "Members" with an unexplained bulleted list is a bit confusing, and on Thetpan Mibaya, the "see also" section should go above the references section per MOS:LAYOUT. But these are just small things to keep in mind for the future. Dclemens1971 (talk) 23:51, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
@Dclemens1971 Thank you very much for your kind comment on my contributions. I plan to continue creating more content related to Burmese history, especially topics that are still missing from the English Wikipedia.
Although access to Wikipedia has been banned in Myanmar across all language versions, I am able to contribute using the ipblock-exempt right.
Please don't worry about the Burmese-language sources — I have substantial knowledge of Burmese history, particularly the Konbaung era, and I have access to both online and offline versions of the Konbaung Chronicle and other historical texts. I appreciate your helpful notes regarding some minor issues in my articles, such as the structuring of See also sections and now fixed, and I'll certainly keep them in mind going forward. Best regards. Hteiktinhein (talk) 16:50, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello, may I ask what the issue is? There doesn’t seem to be any problem on my side, and all the other users who applied at the same time have already been granted the rights. Why am I the only one delayed? Hteiktinhein (talk) 03:04, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
Hallo! I've created 46 articles, and have been editing Wikipedia since 2010. How time flies! merlinVtwelve (talk) 20:52, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
(Non-administrator comment) Reviewed the last several articles, and while your grasp of notability is strong, I did find an instance of WP:CLOP on your most recent creation that is very close to the line of copyvio if not over it. See Copyvio Detector results. This article is otherwise very well done! Two other things to consider when creating articles: create talk pages (the WP:RATER tool is helpful here) and make sure at least one other page links to yours. If you were to be autopatrolled, orphaned pages would likely stay orphaned longer. Dclemens1971 (talk) 23:19, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
Hi @Dclemens1971thanks for the review!. I'll revisit those sections and re-word them. Will keep an eye on WP:CLOP and linked pages in future. Will check out WP:RATER also. Cheers, merlinVtwelve (talk) 06:03, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I have started 300+ pages and have been editing for over three and a half years consistently. Early on, I struggled with notability, but I have since demonstrated an understanding for the notability guidelines. I would like to have autopatrol rights, please. Thanks, Bulldawg (talk) 06:48, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
I have created a large number of articles, all without any significant issues. Another user proposed on my talk page that I request to be Autopatrolled. Throughthemind (talk) 15:10, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

Requesting the AWB to perform repetitive tasks. I will mainly use it for adding categories to AFd debates, fixing grammatical error, fixing abuse of tags. Thanks for considering my request. VortexPhantom🔥 (talk) 07:33, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
Hi. I intend to use AWB to assist with repetitive but useful maintenance tasks such as fixing common formatting issues, updating templates, correcting typos, and performing category cleanups. Similarly, I have also reviewed the guidelines and will ensure all edits follow Wikipedia policies. I am also familiar with Wikipedia editing conventions and have made constructive edits. Thank you for considering my request and I hope for positive response. Fade258 (talk) 13:24, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
You've requested three different permissions in a week. That looks a lot like WP:Hat collecting. Do you really expect to use all of these? * Pppery *it has begun... 21:45, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
Hi @Pppery, Well, You're right to ask. I understand concerns about hat collecting. I had requested these permissions because I have specific or immediate plans to use each permission that I have in more frequently, policy based and in constructive manner. If you'd like, I can explain how I intend to apply each permission in current areas where I'm active. I'm not interested in collecting rights for my own sake only as I intend to help where there's a clear need. Thank You for reviewing my request. Fade258 (talk) 13:03, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I don't edit on the English Wikipedia, but I am asking for the rights so I can use it on the Macedonian Wikipedia so I can fix frequent typos, grammatical errors, update templates, and many other things (but mostly for time-consuming repetitive tasks). I am autopatrolled and have over 6,000 edits and have been a member for close to 8 years. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and have a pleasant day/evening/night. Jtasevski123 (talk) 12:08, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
@Jtasevski123: This page is only for asking permission to AWB on English Wikipedia. Each wiki has its own structure to allow use of AWB. As far as I can see, mk wikipedia does not have a local AWB CheckPage. So, you may use AWB without restrictions, however, consulting with the admins there before using AWB might be more preferable. Hello there, I am requesting AWB permission permission primarily to perform template maintenance and updating, but if I grow comfortable with the tool I will probably do more varied things in the future. I actually specifically intend to use WP:JWB, but I understand that the necessary permission is the same for both. Have a nice day! Choucas0 🐦⬛⋅💬⋅📋 11:38, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm doing a lot of repetitive edits on articles, fixing typos, improving grammar and adding consistent info across pages, so I need AutoWikiBrowser to make the process smoother. I especially need it for pages related to railway stations and Chak villages, where I've been working on adding almost same information. - PunjabiEditor69 (talk) 17:38, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

Hi! I've been doing a lot of file namespace work lately, and I've been doing a lot of multipart uploads ever since phab:T364644 got fixed for English Wikipedia, but occasionally I run into random server errors that leave the upload to a specific filename locked for some period of time. The only practical workarounds are to wait until the lock expires or retry under another filename and request a move, both of which leave me blocked for a while. I'd like to request file mover access so I can handle these cases myself, as a basic WP:FNC#1 move. hinnk (talk) 01:35, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Hi, I would like to request New Page Reviewer rights. I have some experience as an Articles for Creation (AfC) reviewer and have gained a good understanding of Wikipedia’s notability, sourcing, and content policies. I’m interested in helping reduce the backlog by reviewing new pages, and I’m familiar with guidelines such as WP:NPP, WP:CSD, WP:N, and WP:BLP. I aim to contribute constructively on Wikipedia. I've found myself making semi-regular requests at WP:RM/TR (7 in the last two years, 13 overall). I feel like this is one of the things I could just handle myself instead of bothering others with, and could potentially help out with as I see fit. I don't currently plan on closing any RM discussions, but I am very familiar with WP:NCTV, which is my main topic area, that I rarely branch out out of, and the general policy laid out at WP:NC. Hello! I am requesting the pending changes reviewer right to help the project. I have read through all the relevant policys and have been patroling recent changes for a while now. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Please ping me to notify me of comments or a decision here. Macaw* 17:59, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights:
To expand my tool belt as an extended confirmed recent changes patroller, and to more quickly afford new users their non policy breaking contribution. I have currently no sanctions against me and I think I understand wiki policy well enough for it. Thank you JamesEMonroe (talk) 20:02, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
(Post edit) When using this perm, I will take extra care. I think I have met requirements in WP:PCCRITERIA and have reviewed Wikipedia policy. Also please consider older reverts as well or when I took the time to explain things to new users. JamesEMonroe (talk) 21:27, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
I am requesting this right so that I can more easily revert vandalism. If you have looked at my user page, one of the main things I do is revert vandalism. This right, while not making it easier to do so, would give me a different way to do so. I think I have met requirements in WP:PCCRITERIA and have reviewed Wikipedia policy. My account is pretty new, but that is because I just got back into editing Wikipedia. I had an account when I lived in Chicago that had over a year experience. I could not longer access that account because I have forgotten the username and password. Again, I think this would be a good opportunity for me to do something I love in a different way. Whatever your decision is, thank you for considering. ExplorerofSpace (talk) 20:12, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Reason for requesting rollback rights. Have undone multiple vandalism attempts on K. Chandrashekar Rao and Revanth Reddy. Having the rollback permission will be helpful to quickly revert multiple edits. Skratata69 (talk) 17:17, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I will love to request for the rollback permission so I can help fight against vandalism and revert unconstructive edits, I’m also interested to use the wp:ANVDL tool to detect vandalism more easily. I'm looking for rollback perms so I can speed up my vandal reversion by using tools such as huggle. I don't have any issues with RedWarn but my more experienced friends tell me that huggle is much nicer and faster to use. (Arachnid's userpage | what did I do now) 00:05, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
